About me
Hi, my name is Valerie Rhee Driver and I am a Registered Marriage Celebrant based in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia.

I feel honoured to share a couple’s special day with them. I also believe it is important for a couple to trust and feel comfortable with the people around them on their special day, so let me tell you a bit about me.

My work in education as a teacher and a childcare worker, and in the health and wellness industries as a fitness instructor, counsellor, reader, numerologist and energy healer have enabled me to work with people from different backgrounds, cultures and age groups. These experiences have enhanced my communication skills and creativity while indulging my passion to inspire people to be the best version of themselves.

What made me decide to become a celebrant?
It was something I had thought about more than once over the years. I was married by a pastor in a church. It was a beautiful, sunny day outside and I remember wondering what I was doing celebrating this special occasion inside, when I would have preferred to be outside in the sunshine. Skip to many years later and both of my children were married within months of each other in outside ceremonies with a celebrant. I started thinking I would love to do that. I’d love to be involved with the preparation for someone’s special day, knowing that I am helping them to create treasured memories. With that in mind, I began studying and was qualified and registered in 2025.

My Values and Beliefs

I believe that love is central to everything in our lives. Without love we lack trust, and without trust we struggle with intimacy and when we don’t have intimacy, we are alone.

I value love, peace, joy, family, friendships, health, adventure, honesty and trust.

I see marriage as a commitment to love each other and to support each other. To be there for each other through the joyful times and the challenging times.

I believe that LOVE is central to everything in our lives, and if you have found love with one special person then you should not hesitate to take it to the next level.
